About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to manage and improve Council’s purchasing processes. You’ll:
· Drive efficient procurement practices across all Council operations.
· Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support Council goals.
· Ensure compliance with Council policies and legislation.
What You’ll Bring
· Relevant tertiary qualification or significant procurement experience.
· Robust procurement knowledge and hands-on expertise.
· Local Government experience (preferred, not essential).
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
· Exceptional time management and communication skills.
