Job Title: Mathematics Tutor (Casual)
Location: Ivanhoe (in-person)
Insight Tutors is hiring one female tutor to run weekly 1:1 Maths sessions with:
- Year 7–10 students, and
- Year 11/12 students studying General Maths or Mathematical Methods
Experience with either (or both) is a bonus.
Important: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON’T HAVE VCE TUTORING EXPERIENCE.
What You’ll Do
- Tutor students in-person in Ivanhoe ( you may have a few online students)
- Cover classwork, VCAA questions and tests
Role Details
- Pay: $60 per hour
- Shifts are 2–4 hours at a time (your choice)
- You must be able to travel to Ivanhoe
- Casual role with consistent weekly hours
Ideal Candidate
- Has VCE tutoring experience (non-negotiable)
- Solid background in General Maths and/or Mathematical Methods
- Ideally studying science, engineering, maths, or commerce
- Reliable, organised, and good at explaining concepts simply
