Pay Rate: Casual Hourly Rate + Travel Allowance + Mobile Relief Allowance + Standby Allowance
About Us
Neurokin Natural Cleaning is a premium, eco-friendly residential cleaning service based in Katoomba and Springwood. We proudly provide neuro-inclusive, all-natural cleaning services across the Blue Mountains and into Lithgow.
We are expanding our Relief Pool and are seeking flexible, reliable individuals who can assist with short-notice shift coverage to support our team across multiple sites.
About the Role
This is a dedicated Mobile Relief position ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility, variety, and stepping in when unexpected absences occur.
You will not have a regular weekly roster. Instead, you’ll be offered as-needed relief shifts (covering last minute staff absences such as sick calls) Monday–Friday, with the option to nominate on-call days to receive the Daily Standby Allowance.
Open shifts will also be available to claim in advance via our online rostering portal. These may arise due to planned leave, rostering shortfalls, or during times of increased service demand.
This role attracts additional allowances for travel and mobile relief responsibilities (see below).

Pay & Allowances
Hourly Rate: $32.31/hr (Level 1 Casual including Penalties)
Mobile Relief Allowance:
o $15/hr when covering shifts outside your designated home base
o $3/hr when working at your home base
Travel Allowance: $0.99/km from nearest base to clients and between jobs
Standby Allowance: $20/day for nominated standby shifts if not called in
Your designated home base will be the unit closest to where you live. You’ll collect equipment from whichever unit is closest to your shift / client’s location.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide short-notice shift coverage across Katoomba, Springwood, and Lithgow
- Complete domestic cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Travel between locations as required
- Maintain excellent communication and reliability
- Follow all company procedures, policies, and safety protocols
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced, competent, and able to work autonomously
- Reliable and comfortable with flexible, changeable work
- Able to respond calmly to last-minute changes or urgent coverage needs
- Able to travel between locations when required
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Qualified, respectful, and organised
Requirements
- NSW Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (km allowances apply)
- Legal working rights in Australia
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Full training will be provided on our routine and cleaning standards — however, this role will require someone confident stepping straight into existing schedules and client homes.
