About the Company

Davidson is working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Communications Advisor (Graphic Designer).
About the Role

Driven by the Information Management (IM) Strategy and five-year Roadmap, the department has established an Information Management (IM) Program to leverage contemporary ICT solutions, optimise IM processes, uplift IM culture, and improve information governance. The transformation will ensure staff have access to the right information at the right time to make informed decisions, achieve efficiencies and seamless service delivery.
The Communication Advisor (Graphic Designer) is responsible for creating simple and effective design solutions that align with the IM (Information Management) Program's communication strategies. This role involves delivering collateral planned with the Communications and Change teams, including infographics, presentation templates, reports, and print materials.

- Design and Production : Follow creative briefs to develop and produce design solutions for communication materials, including presentations, posters, social media graphics, and internal documents.
- Brand Adherence: Ensure all designs adhere to the department's branding guidelines and accessibility requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including the departments Graphics Team and the Information Management Program, to understand project requirements and deliver on design tasks.
- Task and Time Management:



Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining close communication with the team.

About you

- Deliver straightforward designs to a brief and work with the Communications team to adjust and adapt designs as needed. While the Program's design requirements are not complex, a strong eye for brand consistency is essential.
- Effectively balance creativity with adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring that all communication materials are visually appealing and consistent with the department's standards.
- Please note that if you are screened and shortlisted by a Davidson consultant for this role you will be required to provide a portfolio of design work (min 5 items) with your resume.

The Benefits

- $100 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
- Contract up to 30th September 2025, possible extension
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
