About the role
We are seeking a motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Kogarah Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic, located in Kogarah, NSW 2217. This is a part-time opportunity with a potential view to transition to full time to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
We are a well-established clinic with Physiotherapists working with a strong referral base from Doctors, Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Specialists with a newly fitted rehab gym located in ‘The White Church’ in the heart of Kogarah opposite St George Public Hospital.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop individualised exercise programs for clients
Delivering evidence-based exercise interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of clients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to provide holistic, patient-centred care
Educating clients on the perks of exercise and its role in managing their condition
Continuously monitoring and evaluating client progress to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintaining accurate client records and reporting
What we're looking for
ESSA Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist
Demonstrated interest in providing exercise-based interventions for clients with a variety of musculoskeletal health conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
A commitment to ongoing skilled development and evidence-based practice
Experience or interest in managing workers compensation, CTP, GP management plans.
