There are two (2) 12‑month fixed‑term full‑time positions commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency.
The Role
We are looking for educators who demonstrate professional knowledge, effective practices, and experience in delivering an engaging and relevant secondary school curriculum across Humanities and Social Sciences. Applicants who have experience or knowledge of Career and Vocational Education will be highly regarded. Applicants should be relationship‑focused, flexible and committed to culturally responsive and inclusive learning approaches.
As a member of the Collie SHS staff successful applicants will ideally:

- Promote restorative practices and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to enhance student wellbeing and engagement.

- Employ research‑based, high‑impact teaching strategies to cater for diverse student needs.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Collie Senior High School in 2026 are eligible to receive a temporary ARI payment of $2,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro‑rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
