- Shape engagement strategies that deliver clear, consistent communication.
- Maintain the Stakeholder Management Plan with strong governance and performance measures.
- Provide expert advice to embed compliance and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team focused on exceptional customer experience.

What we are looking for:
- Degree level qualifications in the field of communications, marketing, media or community engagement, or demonstrated relevant industry experience in a similar position.
- Extensive experience in community engagement practices, events, marketing and promotional activities.
- Experience in a similar position in local government or multi-disciplinary environment with a proven ability to advise management and stakeholders on strategic engagement direction, emerging issues, and risk mitigation.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, challenge and engage stakeholders and teams, internally and externally.
- Demonstrated leadership, judgement, and initiative in managing people and priorities under limited direction.
- Current Qld driver’s licence and current holder of Qld Positive Notice Blue Card – Working with Children Check or ability to obtain.
