Lake Imaging, founded in 2002 , has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria , with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics, and specialty centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Located in our Booking Centre in North Melbourne , you'll be the first point of contact for our patients. If you enjoy working in a lively inbound call centre environment , this is the perfect role for you !

You'll use your superstar customer service skills to manage appointment enquiries and bookings. Ideally, you'll have experience in the medical or radiology field , but if you're passionate about the health industry , we want to hear from you!

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Booking Agent, you will:
Take inbound calls and determine the required service
Handle bookings and enquiries efficiently
Notify patients of pre-visit requirements
Liaise with technical and support staff
Quote fees and Medicare rebate amounts
Book appointments at the relevant site
Assist with other tasks as needed

‍ ABOUT YOU

Our Booking Agents come from all walks of life and bring a range of experience. To thrive in this role, you will have:

Excellent communication & phone skills - articulate, empathetic, and a valuable listener
Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience
Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems
A proactive attitude to training and development
Health/medical reception experience (highly regarded)
RIS/PACS systems experience (also highly regarded)
