LEADING HAND CONSTRUCTION MAINTENANCE

About the Prospect:
As a Leading Hand Construction Maintenance, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the Shire’s roads and infrastructure. This position requires a proactive leader who can inspire a team, work autonomously, and operate plant and equipment safely and responsibly.
You will:
Lead and motivate a team in day-to-day operations.
Operate and maintain heavy and small plant equipment.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with Work Health & Safety standards.
Deliver excellent customer service and represent the Shire positively.
Support training initiatives to build a multi-skilled workforce and enable your team.
Be flexible to part-take in the call out roster.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in maintenance and construction.
Robust leadership and interpersonal skills.
Experience with heavy and small plant equipment.
Sound knowledge of workplace safety and health.
Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
Qualifications
HR Driver’s Licence – Required
Construction Card – Required

Hours:
Full time 76 hours per fortnight – 9 day fortnight
Salary:
$72,852 per annum, plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions. Other benefits include a Leading Hand Allowance, adverse working conditions allowance, and mobile phone allowance.
