Duties

- These positions serve as a Archeological Technician for the Color Country, Green River and West Desert Districts.
- Prepare information such as reports, maps, and photographs.
- Plan and carry out non-complex cultural resource field inventories.
- Compile, summarize and interpret data obtained during inventories.
- Assist with on-the ground field studies.
- Identify and package artifacts to be removed from the site.
- Participate in cultural resource inventories to identify cultural, historic and/or paleontological resources.
- Prepare description of artifacts found.




- Determine inventory methods to use, identify area to be inventoried and schedule inventory.

Requirements

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- You cannot hold an active real estate license: nor can you have an interest or hold stocks in firms with interest in Federal Lands.
- Direct Deposit Required.
- Appointment will be subject to a favorably adjudicated background/suitability investigation/determination.
