Macquarie Medical Systems, a division of Macquarie Health Corporation, is a Leichhardt-based medical equipment supplier. We also run a small chain of skin cancer clinics across Sydney and the Gold Coast and design and manfacture our own brand of digital skin imaging systems. We are looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder to support our team with marketing, sales and customer service support.
This is an office-based role, from our Leichhardt NSW office with opportunity to travel for work occasionally for conferences (usually one weekend per month). There is also an opportunity for further professional development moving into new roles in the future such as in sales, accounting or marketing.
Position Description:
- Daily sales activities such as fielding of telephone and online sales inquiries, general customer service, order processing and order distribution.
- Assist with the development high quality marketing and sales material, as well as ensure brand communication through enforcing brand guidelines and policy in conference, partnerships, promotions and creative collateral.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in medical device marketing to ensure compliance and effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Support our sales team with quote preparation and lead interactions, as well as learn how to manage our CRM software solution for reporting and lead generation/management.
- Learn and assist with planning & managing various conferences including sponsorship and assisting with the selling of medical devices and equipment at some of these events.
- Assist with market research such as competitive analysis and market feedback.
- Balance workload and priorities between customer services and sales / marketing support duties by reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor and the Dermatology Product Manager and ultimately the General Manager of the group.
- Support management and team with general administrative duties.
Qualities We Are Looking For:
- Microsoft Office skills are essential.
- Presentation skills and an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience with using a CRM or accounting / sales program such as MYOB.
- General Desktop Publishing skills such as experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Basic knowledge in Social Media marketing and Google SEO/SEM.
- Customer service and sales experience with great communication skills and experience communicating with demanding customers.
- 12 months work experience with sales & customer service.
- Ability to priorities tasks and work across multiple departments with an understanding that customer service is always the highest priority.

Job Type: Full-time on site position. The advertised Full-Time salary range of $70-$75K per annum includes superannuation.
