Full-Time Teaching Opportunities – AQ School, Sunnybank Hills Campus (T1 2026)

Are you an enthusiastic teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, inclusive school environment? Due to expansion, AQ School is hiring for two new full-time teaching roles at our Sunnybank Hills and Distance Education campus (also based at Sunnybank Hills) with both roles commencing T1 2026 (January 2026). We’re seeking dynamic teachers who thrive in small class settings and are committed to empowering autistic students through personalised learning.

Role 1: Distance Education Teacher (On-Site)

Although this role supports students learning remotely, it is based on-site at our Sunnybank Hills campus.

What you’ll do:

- Support effective planning, teaching and assessment using a adaptable student-centred model as well as case manage in an alternative,



flexible model of learning for autistic students via a distance education mode of delivery.
- Teach a small class of mixed -aged students with diverse learning needs.
- Feel supported by your team with dedicated teacher aides and allied health professionals.
- Deliver an established and growing Distance Education personalised program to autistic students.

Role 2: Year P-3 Classroom Teacher (On-Site)

Due to expansion, we’re also hiring a full-time teacher for our Year P-3 class, who are based on-site at Sunnybank Hills.

- Teach a small class of P-3 students with diverse learning needs.
- Feel supported by your team with dedicated teacher aides and allied health professionals.
- Plan, teach, assess and case manage using a adaptable, student-centred model.

Role 3: Y6-7 Classroom Teacher (On-site)

- Teach a small class of 6-7 students with diverse learning needs.
- Feel supported by your team with dedicated teacher aides and allied health professionals.
- Plan, teach, assess and case manage using a flexible, student-centred model.

While our top priority is finding people who share our genuine passion in supporting our clients, here are a few things the right person will be equipped with:

- A passion for inclusive education and differentiated teaching.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning profiles.
- A commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Demonstrated experience with school aged autistic children including multi-aged classes.
- Some exposure to distance education (ideal) and or confidence utilising technology (Distance Education teacher role).
