Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise, identifying issues, and recommending appropriate repair solutions.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance requirements.
Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and suspension components,



adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Perform tune-ups and adjustments to engine components, fuel systems, ignition systems, and exhaust systems to optimise vehicle performance and fuel efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and diagnostic findings, in compliance with workshop procedures and regulatory requirements.
Provide professional advice and guidance to customers regarding vehicle maintenance, repair options, and preventative care measures, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.

Qualifications/Attributes:
Must hold a Certificate III in Automotive Technology or 3 years in lieu of qualification.
Must possess at least a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Must have proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools, and computerised systems for vehicle diagnosis and repair.
Sound knowledge of vehicle systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
