Position: BOH Crew Member
Location: Campbellfield Shopping Centre
Shifts: Morning / Afternoon / Night (Flexible hours)
Report to: Shift Leader / Restaurant Manager
Job Description:
As a BOH Crew Member, you play an essential role in preparing hot, fresh, and high-quality meals for our customers. You will operate kitchen equipment, follow food safety and hygiene standards, and help maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking:
• Prepare and cook menu items following Marrybrown recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate fryers, grills, toasters,
and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor ingredient and stock levels; report any shortages to the Shift Leader promptly.
• Follow strict food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and hygiene.
2. Kitchen Cleanliness & Hygiene:
• Keep all kitchen stations clean, organised, and well stocked throughout your shift.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks—wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining food prep areas.
• Dispose of waste correctly and follow recycling procedures in line with health and safety standards.
• Assist with end-of-shift deep cleaning to ensure the kitchen is ready for the next team.
3. Team Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with kitchen team members, Shift Leaders, and Managers to ensure smooth back-of-house operations.
• Assist with restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns promptly.
4. Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling guidelines to maintain a protected kitchen environment.
• Maintain high personal hygiene standards and wear required protective gear (gloves, hat/hairnet, apron).
• Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to your supervisor.
