People & Culture Administration Officer – Glenorchy City Council
We are seeking an organized, positive and detail‑driven administrator to join our HR team as a proactive Administration Officer. In this role you will provide essential administrative support across a range of HR functions and help strengthen our employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, documentation and data entry.
- Assist with HR processes such as recruitment, induction, personnel records, and employee enquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Use HR systems, Microsoft Office and other digital tools to deliver efficient support.
Key Requirements
- Experience in administrative support, ideally in an HR or similar workplace.
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, supportive team.
- Confidence in using HR or business systems, Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- Positive, adaptable and committed to helping others.
Position Details
Part‑time, 25 hours per week (flexible). Fixed‑term for 12 months.
