Educational Leader – Busy Bees at Oxley (Full time)
Location: 220 Newman-Morris Circuit, Oxley, ACT 2903
Licensed Capacity: 108 places
Hourly Rate: $38.09 – $39.34 (WT 5A.1 – 5.4, depending on qualifications and experience)
About the Role
Busy Bees at Oxley is seeking an inspiring and experienced Educational Leader to join our passionate leadership team.
As the Educational Leader, you will play a critical role in guiding the centre’s educational program and supporting our team to deliver high-quality early learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
In this role, you will:
- Lead and mentor Educators to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality programs.
- Support the implementation of an innovative and inclusive curriculum based on children’s interests and developmental needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and Lead Educators to drive continuous improvement and educational excellence.
- Model effective teaching practices and embed reflective practice across the service.
- Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community to enhance children’s learning outcomes.
What You’ll Need
- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012).
- At least 3 years of experience in an early learning or leadership role.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and the Assessment & Rating process.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and communication skills.
