We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Regency Park, with The Smith’s Snackfood Company on Day Shift.
- Location: Regency Park
- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm, Friday 6:00am to midday.
- Position: Permanent Full Time

Responsibilities
- Perform trouble shooting, planned preventive maintenance, minor installations, commissioning work & corrective maintenance on plant and equipment
- Update and extract data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP)
- Perform work in a professional, timely and safe manner within PepsiCo Safety and Environmental management systems
- Assist to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods/procedures to improve machine availability, quality, and safety
- Work with and assist outside contractors as required
Qualifications
- Engineering qualifications to Trade certificate as a minimum
- Experience in trouble shooting and fault finding
- Ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure
- Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach
- A flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime, attend training and work on other shifts as required
- Food industry experience would be an advantage
