Perth Removals and Storage is Perth's premier furniture removalist Company.
We are a closely knit team who pride ourselves on excellent customer service and an enjoyable working environment.
Our depot is located in Cockburn Central, however shift starting locations can differ occasionally.
The Role:
We currently require a physically fit Removalist with a current Western Australian MR or HR drivers license & ability to carry out duties as a Removalist.
This role will see you:
- Be Professional, Polite, Punctual and Presentable
- Represent the company in a qualified manner
- Assist with pre-packing goods into the truck securely for transport;
- Safely Lift, Load and Unload items;
- Work well within a team and take pride in their work;
- Adhere to procedures and work methodically
- Have the ability to Risk Access surroundings
- Ensure the clients belongings are being treated with care and minimize any risk of damages
- Casual position, hours dependent on bookings.
- Hourly rate $32-$36* plus OT/Penalty Rates.
- Available 2-3 Shifts per week.*
*Estimated 12-24 hours per week. Dependent on what types of jobs are booked in per day.
NOTE: Long term position for the right candidate with potential to increase to 5-6shifts per week.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- C, MR or HR manual drivers license with own transport
- Prior removal experience preferred
- Strong communication skills;
- High level of physical fitness;
- Flexibility for various shift requirements;
- Be reliable and have a positive can-do attitude;
- Have the ability to work as part of a tea;
- Have the ability to follow direction & handle items with care;
- Have the ability to risk access when required;
- Have full working rights to work in Australia;
- Be available for weekday and possibly Saturday work; and
