Join a privately owned, design-driven developer with a strong track record delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects across Sydney. With an established pipeline and a major new project in the inner suburbs progressing through key stages, this is an opportunity for a Development Manager to take genuine ownership across end-to-end development.

As the business continues to scale, they are seeking a Development Manager who can take ownership, move quickly, and contribute to projects that are setting a new benchmark in the market.

The Role

You will lead development initiatives across several significant projects, managing feasibility, planning, design, and delivery activities. Working closely with an experienced leadership team, you’ll help shape commercial outcomes, guide consultants, and maintain momentum from early concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage projects from acquisition support and early concept through to delivery and completion
- Lead feasibility analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence
- Oversee planning strategy, approvals, and authority engagement
- Coordinate design teams, consultants, architects, and external stakeholders
- Drive project vision, commercial performance, and risk management
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure quality and design integrity
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and investors

About You

- 5+ years’ experience in property development, ideally within residential or mixed-use environments
- Strong commercial insight and understanding of planning pathways
- Confident managing consultants and navigating complex project requirements
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder-management and negotiation skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Property,
