Practice is a not for profit organisation and was established in 1990, The practice is a community controlled health organisation providing comprehensive Primary Health Care to Innisfail and surrounding districts including Ravenshoe and Chillagoe.

Mamu Health Service Limited operates from the following locations:

- Innisfail – 2 sites
- Ravenshoe
- Tully
- Babinda

Practice Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

Innisfail district is approximately 1 hour south of Cairns, Tropical paradise with the Johnstone River backdrop.

It offers a selection of Private and state Primary/Secondary schools, Coles, Woolworths, Target & K-Mart.

Innisfail has approximately 10,000 people.

Situated well to access many wonderful tourist destinations, such as the Barrier Reef,



Paronella Park and Josephine falls.

A tropical climate with a rainfall of 3500mm per annum ensures our Green like you've never seen.

We are surrounded by two World Heritage areas - Excellent Barrier Reef Marine Park and the Wet Tropics Rainforest and surrounded by many beaches.

Qualifications and Experience

- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Knowledge and understanding of Primary Health Care
- Experienced in using Communicare Client Data program preferred.
