About the Role
This exciting new role will drive strategic growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities aligned with our goals. Working with senior leaders, business partners and operational teams, the National Business Development Lead will strengthen client relationships and secure new business. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, commercial insight and solid stakeholder engagement.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement business development strategies in collaboration with senior leaders and partners
- Identify market trends, growth opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Build and manage key client relationships and support operational teams in expanding client bases
- Lead the coordination of major EOIs, tenders and proposals
- Drive marketing initiatives to enhance client engagement
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
- Support and guide the Tenders & Events Coordinator in tactical and compliance tasks
- Track and report on business development outcomes to the executive team
About You
- Proven experience in business development,
client management or strategic sales
- Relevant qualifications in business, marketing, engineering or related fields; MBA preferred
- Strong strategic thinking, market analysis and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain senior client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities
- Industry knowledge in consulting, geotechnical or environmental sectors (highly desirable)
