Membership Consultant – Pre-Sale Specialist (Hybrid Role)

CFM Functional Training is expanding into a brand-new, world-class facility — and we’re looking for a Membership Consultant with proven fitness-industry sales experience to lead our Pre-Sale campaign launching mid-January.

About Us
CFM Functional Training (est. 2012) is a long-standing, community-focused training centre in Moorabbin offering CrossFit, HYROX, strength, boxing and recovery.
We are currently preparing to move into our new home in February/March 2026, combining all training zones into one state-of-the-art facility.
We are growing rapidly — and our next team member will play a key part in the success of our Pre-Sale launch.
The Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to sell pre-sale memberships ahead of the opening of our new multi-zone facility.
Start date: Early January 2026
Employment type: Part-time (with room to grow to full-time if desired)
Work style: Hybrid — on-site + remote lead follow-up
You will be the engine behind our pre-sale success: engaging leads, building excitement, showcasing the new space, and converting inquiries into VIP foundation memberships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Pre-Sale membership campaign, with sales going live mid-January
- Manage large volumes of leads via phone, SMS, email, and social platforms
- Convert enquiries into VIP Foundation Memberships
- Deliver powerful, confident sales conversations and presentations
- Host tours and info sessions (render walkthroughs, site visits, etc.)
- Maintain CRM accuracy and follow-up pipelines
- Support marketing with feedback on ad performance and lead quality
- Represent the brand at events, pop-ups, open days, and live activations
- Provide ongoing customer care to ensure smooth onboarding
What We’re Looking For
- Must have proven gym/fitness industry membership sales experience
- Confident closer with strong communication and persuasion skills
- Results-driven and motivated by targets + incentives
- Passionate about fitness, health and community
- Organised, professional, and capable of managing high lead volume
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Thrives in fast-paced, growth-focused environments
