We are seeking an experienced Telecommunication Technician who is a highly performance-driven team player to join our company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an experienced Telecommunications Technician, you will be able to install, upgrade, and integrate the latest mobile carrier equipment/systems in accordance with our client’s specifications, standards, and HSE guidelines.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Installation/upgrading and Integration of Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia BTS hardware
- Experience in MW Technologies and Commissioning.
- Optimisation and performance testing of mobile/cellular and ethernet networks
- Fault finding and rectification of faults on mobile/cellular network hardware, systems, and ancillaries.
OUTLINE OF KEY EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS REQUIRED:
- At least three years extensive experience installing commissioning and integrating a range of technologies from various telecommunication providers.
- Understanding of Hybrid & RF plumbing principles and standards
- Solid understanding of carrier build/installation standards - Optus, NBN/Wireless, VHA, Telstra
- Proactive and positive attitude to HSE and Quality Assurance
- Excellent knowledge and use of test equipment, i.e., PIM, Fibre, Antenna Systems and Ethernet testers.
- Ability to read/interpret technical construction drawings and Spreadsheets.
- An exceptionally high level of attention to detail.
- Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and reliable.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Rigging qualifications are an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Telecommunications Technical qualifications preferred (diploma, certificate or equivalent).
- Working at Heights and Tower Rescue Certificate (preferred but not essential).
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Construction Industry White card.
- RF Hazard Awareness Training
- First Aid/CPR
REMUNERATION:
This is a full-time permanent position, based on a 38-hour working week A competitive remuneration package of $76,600 to $85,000 will be negotiated, taking into account skills and experience.
You will be working with a fast-paced and friendly dedicated team - to deliver above our client's expectations in locations all over QLD and occasionally NSW.
