What you'll be doing
As the BT Data and Information Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity and compliance for blood transplantation services and clinical trials. Your expertise will support accreditation, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of BT data management and reporting
- Manage data submissions to national and international registries
- Provide high-quality data analysis for BT outcomes and research publications
- Support accreditation activities (FACT, NATA, NPAAC, TGA)
- Act as the primary contact for clinicians and health information teams on BT data and coding

How to Apply

- - Appropriate post-graduate tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management, Information Technology or a related discipline or demonstrated experience in the health system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of effective data collection, management and interrogation with an understanding of data quality assurance with regards to monitoring, integrity, access and security with clinical databases.
- Demonstrated knowledge relating to implementation of data quality improvements, quality processes and audit systems.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the development of projects and monitor the achievement of targets and deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of computer application systems including Microsoft Office applications, Patient Administration Systems and databases/electronic data capture systems and statistical programs.
- Proven conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse data and interpret information from different sources.
- Experience in managing clinical trials and knowledge of clinical trials regulations, legislation and ICH-GCP Guideline.
- Demonstrated high-level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
