Offering a mix of strategic insight, business partnering, and hands-on financial analysis and modelling, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment and keen to be closer to the action.Whether you're currently working in a similar operational accounting role or looking to transition from a corporate workplace into something more hands-on and operational, this could be your next big move.This is a permanent, full-time position based on-site (Monday to Friday).
Full relocation support and temporary accommodation are available to help you, and your family settle into the local community.What to Expect:This role is responsible for delivering financial analysis and reporting, while coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes to support optimal financial outcomes and ensure the operation meets its financial obligations.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the financial performance of the operation through robust analysis, insight, and planning.
Your responsibilities will include:Leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles across all departmentsPreparing and delivering internal management reports and financial commentaryPerforming guided and ad hoc financial analysis to provide meaningful insights into port operations and support decision-makingWorking closely with operational teams to combine financial and operating data for strategic improvementsSupporting the Finance Manager with business improvement initiatives and planningAdvising internal stakeholders and contributing to broader team successStrong stakeholder engagement, analytical capability,
