Industrial Painter - Gearboxes and Associated Parts
Location: Glendenning NSW 2761
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Are you an experienced industrial painter looking for a full-time, secure role with a leading power transmission company? Bonfiglioli Transmissions Australia is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our workshop team in Glendenning.
As an Industrial Painter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our high-quality gearboxes and associated parts meet stringent quality and finish standards before they are delivered to our clients across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will be vital to our production process and quality control standards:
- Surface Preparation: Meticulously clean and prepare surfaces of gearboxes and structural steel components for painting.
- Coating Application: Apply base coats and topcoats using industrial spray painting equipment, adhering to specified thickness and finish requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct paint QA inspections and maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify potential improvements in processes and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) if/when required.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all paint equipment, spray guns, and booths in excellent working order.
- Material Handling: Safely operate overhead cranes to move parts within the workshop (training provided if needed).
- Workshop Standards: Uphold a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times.
The Right Person Will Have:
To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will bring a reliable work ethic and relevant experience:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in industrial spray painting, specifically with structural steel products or heavy machinery components.
- Technical Skill: Experience with spraying a variety of coating types (e.g., epoxies, polyurethanes, zinc primers).
- Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using various hand and power tools for preparation and finishing work.
- Work Rights: Unrestricted rights to work permanently in Australia.
- Soft Skills: Strong organisational skills and effective time management abilities to keep up with production schedules.
- Safety Focus: A strong commitment to workplace health and safety protocols.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
