Wara Sushi Chef, Cook, Rollmaker, All-rounder

Wara Sushi is a sushi train restaurant that started in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in 2014.

Our mission is to combine fresh ingredients and creative recipes to bring new experiences to our customers. We currently have 20 outlets across Australia, with a large team of employees who work together to grow Wara Sushi.

We offer sponsorship opportunities for eligible candidates. Those who qualify will proceed with sponsorship after a performance check. We support both SID (482) and 494 visa options.

***Hiring process for full-time and part-time positions: Up to 3 months of probation, followed by performance evaluation.

Current Recruiting Locations

· Store Name: Wara Sushi Earlville

· Position: Chef, Cook, Rollmaker, All-rounder

· Contract terms: Casual, Full Time, Part Time

- Introductory Level (First 3 months):
- Weekdays: $30.35/hr
- Weekends: $36.42/hr
- Public Holidays: $60.7/hr
- Level 1(Automatic increase after 3 months of employment):
- Weekdays: $31.19/hr
- Weekends: $37.43/hr
- Public Holidays: $62.38/hr

Note: Superannuation of 12% is paid separately.

Position Responsibilities by Role

Chef

- Prepare and cook all types of food
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations
- Manage kitchen sections
- Monitor food quality throughout all service stages
- Discuss food-related issues with management, kitchen, and floor staff
- Train staff
- Manage deliveries
- Accurately manage food inventory
- Order ingredients and supplies

Cooks

- Prepare ingredients
- Cook food according to company standards
- Maintain kitchen hygiene
- Manage inventory and supplies
- Collaborate with the team

Roll Maker OR Hot food

- Prepare ingredients
- Make rolls
- Cook according to company standards
- Maintain hygiene
- Manage and prepare ingredients
- Collaborate with the team

All Rounder (Floor)

- Seat customers
- Serve food
- Maintain cleanliness
- Interact with customers
- Handle payment and checkout
- Collaborate with the team

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $55,321.43 – $88,640.31 per year

Expected hours: 31.19 – 38.78 per week
