We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers in Malvern East area to join our growing team and make a genuine difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants based on individual care plans
- Assist clients with daily living tasks including personal care, showering, grooming, and dressing
- Support with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Facilitate community access, social outings, and recreational activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers using safe manual handling practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes and incident reports
- Support clients in building life skills, independence, and achieving their NDIS goals
- Ensure all services are delivered with respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity

Requirements

- Cert III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience as a support worker (preferred). Must have experience supporting children with complex behaviours.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (as per government guidelines)




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work across different shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable

- Manual handling and medication administration training
