Secondary Teacher

Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering a holistic catholic education in all spiritual, academic, social, artistic and sporting domains and where boys are encouraged to always strive to achieve their personal best.

The College is seeking a suitably qualified and committed Secondary Teacher, who has a passion for teaching and working as part of an energetic team committed to excellence in the classroom.

This is a full time continuing position, commencing with us in 2026.

We are looking for a teacher with experience in one or more of following subject areas:

- Senior Mathematics
- Study of Religion
- Philosophy and Reasoning
- Learning Support

Essential Selection Criteria:

1. Commitment to pastoral care of students

2. Awareness and understanding of boys’ education theories and strategies

3. Substantial knowledge and experience of curriculum initiatives and development in education

4. High degree of discretion, initiative and personal organisation in the execution of responsibilities and duties

5.



Flexibility and resourcefulness in working with a variety of staff members

6. Ability to work collaboratively with teams to enhance the College’s identity as a Catholic School in the Marist tradition
