Applications are invited for the position of Water Tanker Operator , based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The Water Tanker Operator is responsible for the satisfactory application of water to road works by tanker.

Essential Criteria

Applicants should address the following Selection Criteria:

- NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent;
- Satisfactory formal training in truck operations, or suitable experience;
- NSW Class HR Drivers Licence;
- Traffic Controller Certificate;
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (‘White Card’); and




- Work Safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker unit of competency.

Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 3, Grade 4. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,075.30 to $1,148.19 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.513 per hour will be paid where applicable.
