Regional Manager - North & North West
Lead REMONDIS waste operations across Tomago, Lake Macquarie and Port Macquarie in this full-time permanent role.
You'll drive profitable growth while ensuring the highest standards of safety and service delivery across multiple branches.
About the Opportunity
As Regional Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our commercial and industrial waste business operations, as well as overseeing our organics facilities in our Port and Lake Macquarie composting operations, with a focus on increasing incoming material volumes, sales of products and the management of contract.
This role will see you managing key performance indicators including safety, productivity, profitability and compliance.
You'll be a key member of our NSW leadership team, developing business strategy and identifying growth opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage profitable operations across Tomago, Lake Macquarie and Port Macquarie branches
- Lead teams to deliver exceptional customer service outcomes and maintain strong safety culture
- Oversee financial performance, budgets, cost management and cash flow
- Develop and execute business strategy for sustainable growth across the region
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with partners, vendors and suppliers
- Identify partnership and acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic objectives
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Workplace or related field
- Management experience in industrial organisation (waste, energy, logistics, manufacturing)
- Solid people leadership with comprehensive business unit responsibility
- Experience managing financial performance, safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong business and financial acumen with well-developed IT literacy
- Cert IV in WHS highly regarded
