At our Mitchell centre we are looking for an early childhood teacher to join our team.

You will be supported by our Centre Director.

Mitchell EEC is the only Early Learning and Child Care service in Mitchell, where a small team create a homely and caring environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years of age to learn and thrive.

You will :

- Have Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA (Teacher position)
- Have a Current Working with Children Check
- Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a sound understanding of the EYLF, Qld Kindergarten Guidelines and NQF
- Have proven ability to work within a small team.

Your Role :

Your passion and enthusiasm will see you engaging with children,

educators and families to implement the educational program for our children.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of your program and flexible routines.

Provide creative learning experiences in both our spacious outdoor environment and well-resourced playroom.

You will have knowledge of the EYLF, and understanding of the NQF / NQS and work in compliance with all regulations to meet the high standards.

Build strong relationships with the local community.
