About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic to join our team at Axton Automotive in Kunda Park, QLD. As a full-time Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services to our valued customers. What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brakes, and filter replacement
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Use the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to ensure accurate and efficient repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work performed
- Adhere to all relevant safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably within the Automotive Trades industry
- Minimum 3-5 years of mechanic experience is required
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Formal qualifications in Light Vehicle Mechanics is required and additional formal qualifications in LV Air Conditioning and Auto Electrics will be highly regarded
- Australian work rights are required for this position
