Long-standing chemical factory based in Marrickville is seeking a full time Production and Warehouse Operator to support the Factory Supervisor and help keep daily operations running smoothly. The business produces a wide range of specialty liquid and dry chemicals and operates out of a purpose-built facility in Marrickville.
This is a hands on role across manufacturing, packing and warehouse duties, with responsibility for maintaining workflow and supporting the Supervisor on the factory floor, troubleshooting and keeping daily production moving smoothly.
The position sits as a 2IC, so previous experience guiding or coordinating a small team in a factory or warehouse environment is important.
Your day will include but not limited to:
- Mixing and batching
- Preparing chemical products
- Packing and labelling
- Forklift operation including high reach
- Loading, unloading trucks and receiving goods
- General support across the production area
- Helping maintain workflow and coordinating simple tasks when needed
- Supporting new starters with basic processes and safe work practices
- Identifying small on floor issues and escalating them to the Supervisor
- Closely dealing with Warehouse and Operations managers
- Any ad hoc duties assigned to you by management
Looking for:
- Team leading or coordinating experience in a warehouse or factory
- Strong hands-on background in warehouse, production or manufacturing
- Current forklift licence with experience
- Comfortable working with chemicals and manual handling
- Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, including lifting up to and occasionally over 25kg using safe techniques.
- Reliable, organised, and able to follow procedures
- Clear communicator who can support workflow and step in where needed
- Someone seeking stable, long-term employment

Job Type: Full time
Pay: $60,500.00 – $70,000.00 per year
