Castaway Coffee Bar is on the hunt for a reliable, energetic Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our tight-knit crew! If you love a rapid-paced environment, good vibes, and being part of a team that actually has fun at work, this one’s for you.
Position: Kitchen Hand / Dishy
Hours: Friday–Sunday (20–25 hours per week) — perfect for a student looking for consistent weekend work
Location: Surfers Paradise (under the Meriton)
What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping our kitchen sparkling clean and organised
- Dishwashing (you’ll become best friends with the dishwasher)
- Helping chefs with basic prep
- Supporting the team during busy morning rushes
- Maintaining hygiene + safety standards
- Being a legend behind the scenes
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Has a positive attitude and good work ethic
- Works well with a small, friendly team
- Experience preferred but not required, we can train you!
- Strong English skills
