Clinical Care Manager | Residential Aged Care
Location: Narrabeen, NSW (Northern Beaches) Remuneration: $75.83 p/h (Approx. $150,000 p.a.) + Superannuation Contract: Full-time
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Care Manager to lead a unit within our residential aged care facility located in the beautiful seaside suburb of Narrabeen. This is a significant chance for a passionate clinical leader to take charge of clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
About the Role
Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical leadership and management of the unit. You will mentor nursing and care staff, oversee clinical governance, and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Clinical Leadership: Lead the unit with confidence, acting as a mentor and role model for the nursing and care team.
- Unit Management: Oversee the coordination of care, ensuring resident needs are met with compassion and efficiency.
- Governance: Manage clinical governance, quality improvement, and compliance with accreditation standards.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Mandatory Registration: Must hold full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Working Rights: Must hold full Australian working rights (Sponsorship is not available for this role).
- Leadership Experience: A minimum of 18 months of proven experience in a Clinical Care Manager (CCM) or equivalent clinical leadership role is essential.
- Clinical Expertise:
A deep understanding of clinical governance frameworks, quality improvement methodologies, and aged care accreditation standards.
- Risk Management: Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying clinical risks, ongoing monitoring, and delivering relevant team training.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills combined with a compassionate, resident-centred approach.
