We're currently searching for an engaging and enthusiastic Functions & Events Officer to join our organisation at the Mildura Sporting Precinct in a temporary part-time capacity up to and including 22 February ****.

96 hours within a four-week work cycle; work outside normal office hours may be required.
About The Opportunity
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing events at the Mildura Sporting Precinct to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
It also supports the promotion and coordination of facility bookings, focusing on increasing usage and identifying business opportunities, especially during off-peak times.
What You Will Bring
Formal tertiary qualification in events management or a business-related discipline, and/or significant experience in events management or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in the use of a range of software packages including the Microsoft Office suite.
High level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders on the telephone and face to face.
Good knowledge of the local community.
Strong customer service skills.
Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or be willing to obtain one prior to employment.




Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain one within two months of commencement.
Hold a current satisfactory Working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
Current Driver's Licence.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $***** per hour plus statutory superannuation.
