This is a long-term contractual position.Please check below all the job details:Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)Work Location: Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne (Only 1 day a week from Home)Eligibility: You must need to have NV1 Security Clearance or above.Tentative Start Date: 1st Sep ****Position Description:Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
The Cloud Engineer will join our OpenStack Platform Team.
The team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of our on-premises private cloud platform, which spans multiple data centres and incorporates Red Hat OpenStack for compute, Red Hat Ceph for storage, and the underlying physical infrastructure.
This role will contribute to both business-as-usual operations and ongoing platform enhancements.Key duties and responsibilitiesProvide day-to-day operational support for Red Hat OpenStack and Ceph clusters in a production workplace.Automate routine maintenance, upgrade, and deployment activities using tools such as Ansible, Python,
