Band 2 Salary Range: $33.10 - $34.01 per hour plus 12% superannuation

Temporary Part Time 25 Hours per week until 24 December 2026 – Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC)
Casual Positions Available:
Casual positions across all three services; Moe (MELC), Carinya (CELC) and Traralgon (TELC) Early Learning Centres

We are looking for passionate Certificate III Qualified Childcare Educators to join our professional and dedicated Early Learning & Care team at our Moe (MELC) and Traralgon (TELC) sites.
About the Roles
Latrobe City Council operates 25 Early Learning & Care services, providing quality early education and care to the children in our community. These roles provide the perfect opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated professionals looking to further develop their Early Childhood career.
In these roles, you will have the chance to directly influence and contribute to the early education and care of our smallest community members. Children are our primary focus, they are valued and supported to grow and develop in our safe and enriching environments.

Permanent Part time position (minimum of 20 hours per week) Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC)
1 x position based at Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC) however you may be required to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon) as required.
- Must have availability to work between hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM
- Must be Certificate III Qualified
- Opportunity to work above 20hrs per week.
2 x Permanent Full-Time position - Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC)
- 1 x position based at Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC) however you may be required to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon) as required.
- Must have availability to work between hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM
- Must be Certificate III Qualified
Temporary Part - Time Position (25 hours per week) until 24 December 2026 Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC)
- 1 x position based at Moe Early Learning Centre (MELC) however you may be required to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon) as required.
- 5 days per week – 5-hour days
- Must be Certificate III Qualified
- Opportunity to work above 25 hours per week.
Permanent Part-Time position (minimum of 20 hours per week) Carinya Early Learning Centre (CELC)
- 1 x position based at Carinya Early Learning (CELC) however you may be required to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon) as required.
- Must have availability to work between hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM
- Must be Certificate III Qualified
- Opportunity to work above 20hrs per week.
Permanent Full-Time position - Traralgon Early Learning Centre (TELC)
- 1 x position based at Traralgon Early Learning Centre (TELC) however you may be required to work across all 3 Early Learning Centres (Moe, Morwell & Traralgon) as required.
- Must have availability to work between hours of 7:30 AM to 5:45 PM
- Must be Certificate III Qualified
About You
You will have knowledge, skills and experience in the Early Childhood sector that will allow you to deliver the best possible outcomes for the children in our community.
You will also have:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. Working towards qualifications may also be considered for these positions.
- Current CPR & First Aid Certificate that includes asthma and anaphylaxis.
