Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you’re a hands-on leader with a passion for safety, reliability and continuous improvement. You will execute the weekly maintenance schedule for the Department and manage any urgent work. You will take accountability for the performance of the maintenance team and actively drive fundamental EHS elements and influence a preventable, proactive and reliability-based maintenance culture. These objectives are achieved by effective task assignment and resource management and developing a team culture where work quality and preventing breakdowns is paramount.
Permanent chance with competitive salary. Day work roster Mon-Fri, with option of a 9 day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, engage and develop a high-performing maintenance team
- Drive EHS principles and reliability-focused practices
- Deliver KPIs and business objectives
- Allocate resources and manage contractors effectively
- Build robust stakeholder relationships
- Champion safety initiatives and continuous improvement
What you bring:
- Proven leadership experience in maintenance or engineering
- Trade qualification or engineering degree
- Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
- SAP experience
- Commitment to safety and innovation
