About the role
This part-time Community Engagement & Client Intake Officer role with Slickcare' presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people living with disabilities all around Sydney . In this varied and rewarding position, you will play a key role in connecting clients to the vital services and support they need.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting outreach and engagement activities to promote Slickcare' services within the local community
- Liaising with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to assess service needs and connect them with appropriate support
- Completing client intake and eligibility assessments
- Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
- Providing administrative and coordination support for the community services team
- Participating in team meetings and career development opportunities
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a community services or client-facing role, preferably within the aged care or disability support sector
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by older adults and people with disabilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Proficiency in using relevant software and client management systems
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Disability, or equivalent)
