Are you a passionate and qualified early childhood educator looking for a flexible role in a supportive and community-focused workplace? Midvale Early Childhood and Parenting Centre is seeking Diploma Qualified Educators to join our team on a casual basis.
About the Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will play a key role in guiding a team of educators, planning and implementing programs using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and working in partnership with families to achieve the best outcomes for children aged birth to four years.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality programs aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
• Observe, assess, and plan developmentally appropriate activities for children.
• Foster positive relationships with children and families, maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Supervise and mentor untrained staff and students on placement.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong communication skills, ability to prioritise tasks, and commitment to child safety.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Skills in child supervision, observation, and assessment.
• Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum.
