Are you highly organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting a team that shapes sustainable communities? The Shire of Mundaring is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to provide high-level administrative and coordination support to our Built and Natural Workplace Directorate.
As the Office Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient workflow and compliance across the Directorate. You’ll manage calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, oversee document control, and support tender processes. This position also involves mentoring administration staff, maintaining leave coverage, and driving business improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
• provide confidential administrative support to the Director and five Service Managers
• coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and reports
• oversee records management and compliance
• administer tender management processes via Tenderlink
• lead standardisation of work practices and templates
• contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
To be successful you will have:
• strong organisational, time management, and leadership skills
• excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• experience supervising administrative staff and providing high-level support.
