Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-time Position
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Summary
The Warehouse/Storeperson is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth and safe warehouse operations. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our established Thomastown team.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory
Inspect and verify incoming goods against documentation.
Update inventory records and label items appropriately.
Unload and process stock efficiently.
Order Fulfillment
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Organize freight bookings and shipping documentation.
Safely load and unload trucks and containers.
Warehouse Operations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized setting.
Operate forklifts and other equipment.
Conduct stocktakes and assist with inventory reporting.
Liaise with internal teams and third-party logistics providers.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all WHS procedures and use PPE.
Report hazards, damaged goods,
or equipment issues promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Must hold current LF only Forklift Licence (other classes not required).
Ability to handle stock safely and perform manual lifting.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems).
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
Personal Attributes
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Organized with strong attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work in a rapid-paced environment and solve problems proactively.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items as required.
Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions.
