About the Role:
Primo Foods has a fantastic chance for a Food Safety Quality Assurance officer. This role will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be part of the frontline team that ensures quality assurance policies/procedures and food safety standards are met.
Ideally this position would suit a candidate that is committed to teamwork, is a hard worker and has a passion for quality.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Ensures that all monitoring is being performed in accordance with the approved arrangement.
Ensure product is being produced to specification
Carry out internal Quality Audits as requested by the FSQAM
Initiating corrective action plans where required
Understand and enforce the requirements for each of the SOP’s that are relevant to the certain department
Assist with the coordination of hold/releases Attend to non-conformances and customer complaints
About you:
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of Quality Assurance terminology, policies and regulatory standards
Organised and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Sound knowledge of computers
Experience with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and knowledge of BRC (British Retail Consortium) Standards
