Lorg Talent is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established heavy truck and bus dealership based in Oxley QLD.
About the Company
This Australian bus and coach manufacturer supplies vehicles across the country through a trusted dealership network. They are supported by a knowledgeable team across sales, service and parts, and have built a strong reputation in the industry over many years.
About the Role
You will oversee the day to day running of a busy dealership workshop, leading a close knit team of technicians and ensuring high standards of service, safety and operational efficiency.
This is a hands on leadership position suited to someone with strong mechanical capability, proven dealership experience and a genuine passion for team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support the workshop and service team
Oversee scheduling, workflow and dealership service quality
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring skilled and timely service delivery
Monitor budgets,
KPI performance and workshop productivity
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
About You
Trade background with strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
Previous experience in a dealership environment is essential
Proven background in service or workshop management within heavy truck and bus
Confident leadership style with the ability to guide and support the team
Strong communication skills and customer service focus
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, workflow and customer relationships effectively
Commitment to safety, performance and service excellence
