AMS Technology Group Perth Pty Ltd is a respected Australian leader in commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) services. We are growing and looking for dedicated professional to join our expanding team. We are currently looking for pressure welder to join our team on full time basis, candidate must have at least one years of experience in the same field.

Duties to perform:

· Welding and joining high-pressure pipes, coils, and refrigeration lines used in air-conditioning and HVAC systems.

· Performing GTAW/TIG, MIG, and other specialised welding techniques on copper, aluminium, stainless steel, and steel pressure components.

· Reading and interpreting HVAC engineering drawings, specifications, and pressure system schematics.

· Conducting precise cutting, fitting, and alignment of pipes, valves, condensers, evaporator units, compressors, and other pressurised components.

· Inspecting and testing welded joints using NDT (non-destructive testing) methods such as pressure testing, leak testing,



hydrostatic testing, and visual inspections.

· Ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 4041, AS/NZS 3500, and relevant refrigeration/pressure equipment standards.

· Repairing or replacing damaged or leaking high-pressure lines and fittings within commercial and industrial air-conditioning systems.

· Working with HVAC technicians to install, maintain, and upgrade pressurised refrigeration and chilled-water systems.

· Preparing weld records, test results, and compliance documentation for quality assurance and safety audits.

· Adhering to WHS/OHS guidelines, ensuring safe handling of pressurised gases, refrigerants, and welding equipment.

· Maintaining welding tools and machinery to ensure accurate and protected operation.

Minimum Experience: 1 year (full-time)
Salary: $75,000– $95,000 AUD per year
