Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Timber Door Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling high-quality timber doors according to specifications, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every step of the process.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly: Assemble timber doors using hand tools, power tools and air tools, following production job sheet/drawings.
Quality Control: Inspect components and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
Material Preparation: Cut timber and steel components as necessary to meet design requirements.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working setting.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient production flow and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in assembly or production work workplace. Previous experience operating forklifts and current forklift licence.
Skills: Proficient in the use of power tools, strong attention to detail and ability to engage in repetition work in a fast-paced setting.
Knowledge: Understanding of safe work practices.
Physical Requirements: Ability to assist with lifting heavy materials and stand for long periods.
Education: Vocational training in woodworking is a plus.
