CHEF

Full Time / Part Time position

Location: Hawthorn East VIC 3123

Hours: 6:30am to 3:00pm approx.

Light Years Cafe is searching for a reliable, hardworking chef to join our friendly team.

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team. The roles and responsibilities are:

· managing the day to day running of the kitchen

· design menu and specials using seasonal produce on a regular basis

· stock ordering and responsible for cost control

· training team members

A successful candidate must have the following attributes:

· passionate about food

· must have worked in a high turnover commercial kitchen for at least three years

· have experience in menu creation

· commitment to high quality and be consistent

· have desire to learn and develop skills

· have experience managing teams

· reliable and hardworking

· work well under pressure
