About the Role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join the team on a full time basis. Working closely with a Leading Hand, the successful candidate will be involved in fabricating trailers, security boxes, canopies, and other custom components.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate trailer chassis, security boxes, canopies, and similar structures using MIG welding techniques
Assist with boiler making and TIG welding of aluminium (advantageous)
Operate forklifts to handle materials safely (preferred but not essential)
Adhere to safety standards and maintain high-quality workmanship
Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
About You
Boiler maker certification OR 5+ years’ proven welding experience
Solid MIG welding skills; TIG welding of aluminium an advantage
Knowledge of fabrication techniques, trailer, or heavy-duty structure building desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow safety protocols
Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods
Forklift licence desirable but not essential
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within a supportive setting
